Christmas (5 year-olds to 6th grade).

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

To learn about Christmas, each of the grade levels followed along and listened to a story about Christmas that is in one of the curriculum books. They heard some of the differences between the major days in the United States and in Spain. The students heard a variety of Christmas songs and learned at least a section of one song, if not the whole song. They also made a handprint Christmas tree. Each student from both the ELL and Bilingual classes (5 years through 6th grade) traced their hand on white paper. The students then colored it green and cut it out. Some painted their paper fingernails to represent ornaments. The hands were then pasted together to form the shape of a tree. Ornaments were colored and 'hung' on the tree. It was displayed in the entry way of the school for the students and parents to see.

We Wish you a Merry Christmas video.
